I started Thuswise Ltd in 1999. Back then, I thought I might be able to make my fortune as an Electronics Engineer (hah!), and 'Thuswise' was the name I chose for my multi-million pound global business.

That ambition is undiminished, although I have to say, it's taking longer than I expected. These days, Thuswise is an umbrella I plant over my hobby projects. I use the word to mean 'how to do things', and 'how to get better at doing things'. Did you spot that? Clever, see.

I've come to the conclusion that the most honourable thing to do with the skills I've picked up is to share them. So the idea of this site is exactly that. Everything in this section is entirely my own work, carried out in my own time. The software, where it is sufficient to warrant it, is released under the GNU Public Licence.

I'm still moving slowly towards a long term goal. It has to do with using Free software to improve the way we do business, and to increase the cohesion of local communities. Sorry about the slight delay, but worth doing properly, you know.
