Welcome to my space on Thuswise.org. I'm an artist and musician; I've been creating and painting for over ten years. I have a small studio at home and I teach drumming to youngsters in the evenings.
I show my work and I've managed to sell a few pieces. I also take on commission work for special clients. These pages are just a glimpse of some of my work, hopefully enough to ignite your interest. Please click on the contact link below to get in touch.
At the moment, I'm working mostly in oils. My pieces are large, bold dreamscapes with strong musical motifs. I paint scenes from memory, emotions, characters and personalities. I like primitive forms; I know I could never be an architect the way my angles come out!
Painting's so chaotic. In fact, it's not always a pleasant experience. I sometimes get really stressed while I'm working because I know time is short. Most of my pieces have a lot of emotional content. Some of that emotion is remembered, and some is generated on the spot.
I'm mostly self-taught and so I'm constantly exploring new techniques and trying to broaden my skills.
